Amazing Facts Oceania
Amazing Facts is a multimedia Christian ministry based around a weekly television program. Amazing Facts Oceania operates in Australian and New Zealand where the TV program feeds viewers to their website. In 2018, it was time for an update with a focus on e-learning, e-commerce and mobile usability.
Flexible Home Page
I built a modular homepage for Amazing Facts Oceania, so they can easily change the content they feature. It can display the current broadcast, forms, latest blog posts, featured videos, resources, images, and generic text areas for any other kind of information they need.
Extensive E-commerce
With a variety of different e-commerce needs from donations to free giveaways to an extensive store, we wanted to make it possible for users to find what they were looking for with ease. To do this users can get the free giveaways directly from the homepage, access donations from anywhere on the site, or drill down into store categories to find the resources they need.
Learning Management System
Amazing Facts Oceania was looking for a system that would enable them to engage with more of their viewers in a meaningful way. To facilitate this, we chose an LMS that would allow the creation of online courses. Through this system, they can build individual units of learning that incorporate written, graphic, audio or video content as well as set assignments, run quizzes and give certificates of completion.
Mobile Responsive
The Amazing Facts Oceania website is device agnostic. Almost all elements are scalable, so the site scales to fit any screen. If a screen is too small, everything scales down or stacks as appropriate.
